The broad silver eggcrate grille and dual headlights of a yellow 1969 Pontiac GTO stare down at us in this 8x10 car art photo. Affectionately nicknamed "goats" by car buffs, GTOs like this sunny yellow one never did top Camaros or Mustangs sale-wise, even though the GTO was considered the first true muscle car (though not pony car).

That said, in my experience, GTO fans are the most loyal to their chosen automobile than aficionados of any other classic car! And as we are stared down by the grille of this sharp '69 GTO, it isn't hard to see why.
