Product Description
Charming cream and sugar set from Aynsley in their Shamrock pattern. Fine Bone China. Lovely addition for a collector or ex-pat.

Green back stamp that dates this set from between 1960-1972.

Crocus/coupe shape with gold gilding top and bottom rims and on the creamer handle. Adorned with posies of delicately handpainted shamrocks.

Excellent condition. No crazing, chips, cracks and gold gilt all intact.

Sugar bowl stands 2in (5.1cm)tall
3in (7.6cm)diameter top of bowl
Creamer is almost 3in (7.6cm)including the spout/pourer

Aynsley is synonymous with top quality, strong, brilliantly white bone china. It was in the 1800s that the original founders grandson discovered that by adding 50% calcified bone ash to the porcelain they could produce a stronger and whiter bone china.
