Vintage Sadler lustreware vase in a pretty Oriental floral pattern. Base of vase has impressed Sadler, England, gold pattern number, an x and what looks like a c.

The lustre on the vase creates a mirror like reflective finish that is difficult to pin down to a hue - but the overall effect is a pale cream with green. yellow, blue highlights. Very beautiful! The floral pattern is on the front and back of the vase, is an Oriental style floral arrangement with red, pink, green, yellow, lilac, blue and black colors.

Top and bottom of the vase have a gold gilded band. The top band has a little wear along one side while the bottom band is intact.

There is one hairline crack running from the neck of the vase up to the top. This has always been there and isn't noticeable to the naked eye. I only noticed it the first time I washed the vase - but have been happily using it for years without any leaks or widening of the crack. Other than that the vase is in very good condition.
