White Pearls, Blue Sapphires, and Yellow Gold Necklace

Product Description

Lovely 17 inch handmade, artisan necklace with a 24 K vermeil pendant, very nice white pearls and dark sapphires. It has a 2 inch extension....a knock out! The vermeil pendant is 1.5 inches long and has a paisley pattern on it that is very subtle. This is finished with 14 k gold filled and the clasp is 24 K vermeil hook and eye clasp. Vermeil is sterling silver plated with 24 K gold - the color is fantastic.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

Have to tell a story about these sapphires, I had been eyeing them for about a year, but they were pricey, and I always put them off. One of my favorite clients made a very large purchase, and I decided that, no matter what, I was buying a strand of sapphires. This is a copy of the first necklace that I made with them...and guess who bought that first necklace??

More Info

I use only 49 strand stainless steel stringing wire in my necklaces, it is the best and most flexible in the market. I also only use sterling silver, or 14K gold filled, 2.5 MM twisted crimp beads for my wire. They are longer and to me, they hold more securely than anything else. If I use alternate metals, they do not contain lead and usually, are made in this country.
