Details:

-- made of one hundred percent natural wool with lanolin (lanolin is the sheep's natural oil - it is used in authentic oriental rugs for easier clean-up of stains and makes it last 100 years as opposed to other wool rugs which have a life-span of only 20 - 25 years; likewise it is very popular in garments for many of the same reasons: it is more water and stain resistant, warmer and will not wear out as fast)
-- I am the artist who hand-crocheted it and will be shipping it to you
-- it has an open weave crochet pattern for texture
-- extremely long length (it may be ankle length for shorter people): the length of entire scarf (end to end) is 91 inches (not counting fringe) and 106 inches (counting the fringe), i.e. VERY long! Please measure to get an idea of how it will fall on you.
-- the width is 6 inches
-- the color is dark brown with a little white running through it (the color of the natural sheep); I call it a pepper and salt scarf (the salt is secondary to the pepper)
-- the scarf comes with care instructions: hand wash with cold water only when absolutely necessary as soap will strip the lanolin (natural sheep's oil) from the garment and will change the characteristics of the wool in terms of wear, warmth and water repelency.
