I started by cutting out 2 rectangles from 22 gauge sterling silver sheet and then hammering them for texture.I then soldered the serrated bezels in place and drilled holes through them to let the light shine through the stones. Finally adding the detail at the bottom of the bezel , adding the beautiful faceted 6 mm rock crystals and finally the handmade fish hook ear wires.

These earrings hang almost at 2 1/4 inches long.

I came up with the idea of these earrings one day while looking out the window one chilly morning and seeing frost on the glass. That kind of hard frost that looks like snow flakes suspended on your window pane.
