The spider is a Black-and-Yellow Argiope: Argiope Aurantia. Also known as a Golden Orb Weaver. The spider is on the side of the barn of a neighbors house. Using a small aperture gave me a large depth of field in this photo to make it look like a gigantic spider was descending to crunch the house next door!
