Peyote stitched, crystal white, seed beads make up the base of this necklace. Tumbled and polished quartz crystals were attached to the base with a silver lined seed bead bezel. The base was topped off with draping, silver lined seed bead drifts and bead and crystal fringe hangs from the bottom. The cord is peyote stitched and finished with a loop and toggle closure.

This necklace is made to sit just below your throat but not quite as short as a choker. The length is 17 inches from one end of the cord to the other. The base portion measures approximately 5 inches high from the to of the draped beads to the bottom of the longest fringe, and 4 1/2 inches wide. Item #1114010

The quartz crystals were given to me in rough shape. I tumbled and polished them and set them aside until I could decide what to do with them.

It was snowing when I finally got an idea to use the inspiration of drifting snow and hanging ice.
