I won a full set of Fat Quarters from "Party with Patrick" on facebook. These are from Robert Kauffman and are from the "dot- to- dot" set by designer Patrick Lose.

I had purchased fabric from Chantellelace on ebay, and she included a quilt pattern as a gift. I never thought I would have the correct fabric to make such a quilt, and I was very lucky to be able to find this pattern, given that I can lose things I WANT to make, let alone what I can't. Becuz I KNEW this was the perfect pattern to use with these fat quarters.

The pattern is called "Joy's Florals" by Jill Kemp, from Bears Paw Designs, for Red Rooster Fabrics.

This fabric from Mr. Lose is wonderful. Look at these colors, this quilt should be called "Joy". One of the coolest things about it is that those small dots influence the colors more than you might think !

The lavender used for the squares within the design and the fabric for the backing were purchased just for this quilt. The other lavender print is from my stash. All is 100% cotton and machine wash- and - dryable.

The batting is GREEN !!! It is made from re-cycled soft- drink bottles. NIce and warm, with good drape. The microfibers made are just the same as other microfibers made with new materials.

The quilt measures 72 by 103", and will look great on a twin or full bed.

The patchwork on this quilt is nearly perfect and the quilting is very good. The quilting on the border is the thickest, to help prevent wear and tear.

This quilt is my best one yet. I have come to the place where I truly know exactly what I'm doing, all the time. Bring on the fabric !! I'm ready to QUILT !!!
