Philosophy came and sat on my shoulder before I colored these... If red, like a flame, if blue, like a raindrop, if green, like a leaf.



These plastic fantastic earrings are traced, and then cut out. Color is applied, and then they are baked. After they're baked, they are embellished and shellacked. When the shellace has dried, theyare finally ready to be fit to findings and offered to you here as "plastic fantastic" earrings. The entire process takes three days... at least. But there is something so satisfying about seeing a new batch drying on my workbench that I just can't quit doing them !!!



These have stainless steel posts and clear rubber stoppers. They are firmly bonded with Gem-Tack, a glue made expressly for this purpose.



They are little artworks, for your ears...
