Amber Pendant set in Sterling Silver, 20.7mm x 44.18mm. This amber reminds me of champagne with its light, nearly clear color and inclusion of bubbles.

Amber is actually a prehistoric fossilized tree sap, insects are sometimes found caught in amber trapped by the sticky resin. From medicine men to early physicians, amber probably has more folklore and tradition associated with it than any other gemstone.

This is a one of a kind (ooak) art piece. I personally hand cut the high domed gemstone, then hand forged the metalwork to take advantage of the beauty of the stone.
