Larimar and Sterling Silver Pendant, 16.58mm x 33.59mm.
Larimar is an opaque stone in pleasing patterns of blue and greenish blue similar to the color of the ocean in tropical climates. Larimar was named by a Dominican for LARIssa his daughter and MAR the Spanish word for sea. Larimar came on the market in the1970's and has to date only been found in the Dominican Republic.

Beautiful small sky blue triangular stone in heavy Sterling silver setting. This is a one of a kind (ooak) art piece that abstractly resembles a bird in flight. I personally hand cut the gemstone and forged the silver to show the stone to its best advantage.
