Freeform Hand Etched Dichroic Fused Glass Pendant Necklace. Colorful hand etched dichroic glass freeform pendant wire wrapped in sterling silver wire and placed on a sterling silver chain. The dichroic colors range from purple to blue, green to gold, orange to red depending on how and where the light hits this one of a kind pendant. An absolutely original, eye-catching piece.

The pendant has a general marquise shape and measures approximately 1.5in from top to bottom and about 1/2in at the widest part. The sterling silver chain is just under 17in from end to end and closes with a secure spring ring clasp.

I made the pendant in my glass studio, cutting, shaping, etching and beveling the glass. It has been properly fused together through several kiln firings and properly annealed (slow-cooled) for strength and durability. I then grooved the sides of the piece and wire wrapped it to create the pendant.
