Shadow hearts play within this large heart pendant suspended from a sterling silver necklace chain. The pendant has a base of back and a surface of golden copper dichroic glass which has been etched by hand and beveled on the edges to frame the design. The glass was then grooved around the sides, wire wrapped and accented with two horn beads.

The pendant measures about 1.5in (4cm) from top to bottom and 1.25in (3.5cm) across. The sterling silver chain measures 20in (50cm) in length and is secured with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.

Special times and people in our lives leave shadows on our hearts. Some shadows represent lessons our hearts had to learn and some represent joys and loves which stay with us always.
