Small Swirled Blue Heart Pendant on a black cord necklace. The dichroic glass flashes shades of blue from turquoise to true blue to purple depending on the light. The base is green glass with silver sparkle. The pendant is small, measuring about 3/4in (2cm) across the widest part and about 1in (2.5cm) from the top of the wire to the bottom of the heart.

The pendant was made in my home studio. The glass was fused and annealed in my kiln for durability. I then cut and shaped the heart and etched the swirl design. Finally I placed a small grove in the side of the piece so that wire could be wrapped around to create the bail. A 16in (41cm) black cord with black enameled copper wire findings finished the necklace.

This is a small pendant that brings a big punch of color and fun to any outfit!
