This is for one 4 ounce Handmade Vegan Dreadlocks Shampoo bar scented with ~Sandalwood and Amber~

This scent is my own blend of woody slightly smoky sandalwood fragrance oil mixed with sweet exotic amber fragrance oil. This blend is great for guys or girls, very unisex.


NOTE: this can be used as a shampoo bar on normal hair too!

this shampoo has mostly olive oil as a base (castile) and is gentle and generates loads of lather and bubbles due to the coconut oil content. I have been using this on my own dreads for some time now, and I love it and nothing has built up in since June of 09


This soap can also be used as a bath bar, will not dry skin at all, the recipe I have made here is quite moisturizing.

The way you use a bar soap on your dreads is to rub the bar on your scalp in between your locks if they have locked up so they are a little stiff already.

Rub in a circular motion all over your scalp and that also speeds up the locking process too. Towel dry vigorously, that helps too!

You can squeeze the lather thru your locs to scent them too just make sure you rinse really well and dry thoroughly.

Try not to go to bed with wet locs. I have heard stories of mold growing in them from this EWWWW!

You can also lather the bar up and put the lather on your head and use that to clean the scalp.

I mold these bars by hand so they will be the right size to fit in your hand real nice so you can use it in the way you need to use it.
