Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Each Endpaper represents the last page of a story, drawn and typed on blank pages from the backs of old books.

I used to work at a magical place called Scandia Bakery, making coffee and espresso and serving the locals who knew it was the best place for cake and pastries in town. Every Saturday morning, a group of elderly folks would all come at the same time, buy out the pastry case, and sit munching and talking and laughing until late into the afternoon. When I asked how they knew each other, they smiled and said, "We're just old friends." I liked to imagine they had once been part of a traveling band.
