This is an 8.5" x 11" print of a Colored Pencil, Watercolor and India Ink painting by me, Melody Lea Lamb. The handsome bunny here is "Duncan Alexander" who will be the feature character in our new children's book "Duncan's Magical Garden" With this piece I have combined two paintings. The first painting is of the ornate Ivy border which will also frame other images in the book. Then the inner portrait of Duncan (originally done in watercolor and ink) has been added to the Ivy frame via a graphics program. Both pieces are my own original work.

The piece is printed from my Epson printer with archival Ink on Epson High Quality Ultra Premium Photo Paper with a Matte finish. These prints are rated to last 98 years if framed behind glass or 200 years if kept in an album. This is a limited edition of quality prints, each individually signed and numbered by the artist (me!) I mail your print between two pieces of clean cardboard and sealed in an archival sleeve. Any watermark of my name does not appear on your print.

About "Duncan's Magic Garden"

This is one of the illustrations from a children's book I am working on which features this handsome black bunny. I am in the early stages of the illustration process which you can follow along on my blog. Duncan finds he has magical powers, but also learns some important lessons as the charming story unfolds.

"We adopted this little family of bunnies four years from Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue in Phoenix. We call these guys The Fabbitz (Fabulous + Rabbits) They are: Ashleigh Elizabeth, the mother rabbit, and her three children, Nigel Sebastian, Alyce-Michele Elise and Duncan Alexander. It has been wonderful sharing our lives with them and watching them grow and interact as a family."
