These runestones are perfect for summer divination, or for anyone whose element is water.

This set of runestones includes all 24 Elder Futhark runes and two extra blank ones (one in a raindrop shape, and the other in the star shape). I do not use the extras for divination purposes (although some people use a blank 25th rune), but I am including the extras in case you want to or if one happens to chip or break in the future. (They are sturdy and should not break, but just in case your dog gets one or it falls out a window or something.)

The runestones are made from blue, cyan/sea blue, and purple polymer clay with glittery silver and blue pigments mixed in. The runes are painted on with light sea blue acrylic paint. The stones were then painted over with glossy varnish so that the paint wouldnt rub off as easily and to make them shinier. The drops are about 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) tall and 3/4" (1.9 cm) wide and the stars are about 1" (1.9 cm) wide and tall.

I am also including a handsewn matching pouch. The bag is 5 3/4" (14.6 cm) tall and 3 1/2" (8.9 cm) wide. The bag ties shut with blue ribbon, and has two shiny purpleish colored and two purple colored plastic pony beads on the ends.


The shipping is slightly higher on my runestones than the other items in my shop because they have to be mailed in a box so they will not break.

NOTE: I had trouble getting the colors to show up correctly in the photos- hopefully with the different color backgrounds you can get an idea. They are really very pretty!

I, however, am not including any means of reading the runes- there are plenty of websites and books on the subject of runes out there. If you need any basic info or would like to be pointed in the direction of good books on runes, just ask and I will let you know some that I have found useful.

I am planning on making more runes in different shapes, but if you have any requests, just ask and I can make you something custom. I love custom orders!
