Like a lot of the earrings I've made, this earring was inspired by "The Lord of the Rings"- in this case, Lothlorien. The woods of Lothlorien always appear golden because of the leaves of the mallorn trees, so I used yellows in this earring along with the green, silver, and brown.

This listing is for one cartilage chain earring/ear-piece that connects from the earlobe to the upper cartilage of the ear. The earrings posts are silver-colored metal.

This earring is made using green, brown, and yellow enameled copper wire and bright aluminum wire (the silver color). I twist and cut the wire for the earrings myself, so there are some places in the copper rings where the copper color shows through where it was cut. It isn't very noticeable, though, but this is just a heads up so you know.

At the bottom of the earring are a pewter leaf charm, round green glass bead, and a smaller gold-colored plastic bead. The entire earring is 3 1/4" (8.3 cm) long from top earring ball to the bottom of the leaf charm, and is 2" (5.1 cm) long from earring post to earring post.

I came up with the idea for this style earring because I have multiple piercings in both ears and wanted something uniquely fantasy for them- what I ended up with was this style of elven/fae earring.
