Embroidered Fox in a Black Hoop Frame

Product Description

This embroidery of a red fox comes in a nice finished embroidery hoop frame. The fox design is hand stitched on an off-white, linen-colored fabric. The coloration of the fox is from wax (crayon- how cool is that!) melted into the fabric. It's framed in a 6" embroidery hoop that I painted black and varnished to seal the paint with a thick piece of cardstock glued to the back to keep everything tidy (my signature is on the cardstock).

Counting the metal bar at the top, this is about 6 3/4" (17.1 cm) tall and is 6 1/2" (15.9 cm) wide.

It hangs on the wall by way of the metal bar at the top; just slide a nail under this bar. The ribbon at the top is removable but is useful for hiding the bar and a nail.
