This hat was inspired by wind and the element of Air and is made from a lightweight cotton yarn.

The top of the hat has a kind of spiral pattern from the mottled colored blue cotton yarn I used, and there's a bar of plain blue yarn under the swirls. I hand sewed on swirls of air (okay, so it's cotton fabric and white felt, not really air, but do you know how hard it is to sew air?).

I made this hat a few years ago before I really got the hang of crocheting hats, so it's rather large and fits my 22" (55.9 cm) head very loosely. If your head is my size, this will fit loosely.

Since this came out large and because this is an older item, I have it priced lower than it would have been had it come out smaller.

For washing, I'd recommend careful cool handwashing. The yarn itself will hold, but please be careful with the felt swirls as those will be rather fragile.
