This green, brown and silver Celtic chainmaille necklace was inspired by my wood elf D&D character. When I saw this triquetra pendant at the renfaire bead shop, I knew I had to use it for chainmaille. :)

This necklace is princess-length (longer than a choker, but not as long as a full length necklace). It can be adjusted tighter or looser, though, since the lobster clasp can hook onto one of the maille rings or the extra chain on the end.

The chainmaille part is made from black and green colored anodized aluminum jump rings and bright aluminum jump rings. Dangling from the maille are a ceramic green and grey Celtic knot pendant and two brown metal chains.

The necklace is about 15" (38.1 cm) long. It closes with a lobster clasp and has an extra 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) silver-colored metal chain so the necklace can be adjusted larger or worn looser. The width of the chainmaille is about 3/4" (1.9 cm), but the triangle shape in the center is longer (the maille part is 1 1/2" [3.8 cm]).

I have a small neck so when I modeled this, I clasped it further in on the chainmaille to make it tighter. That said, if you'd like this made shorter, just ask. I can also make it a bit longer if you need that- adjusting the size won't cost any extra.

Note: I had a hard time photographing the pendant; it's a shiny dark green that fades into lighter greens in the glaze.
