This connecting cartilage chain earring is aquatically aerial- the blue and silver and wing appear angelic as well as watery.

This is a single cartilage chain earring (or ear piece/ear cuff) that connects from the earlobe to the upper cartilage of the ear, with a pierced post earring on either end of the blue and silver chain.

(Do you lack piercings? I can make them with non-pierced cuffs, too! See info below.)

The ear-piece is made using enameled copper wire in two shade of blue and bright aluminum wire (the silver color). I twist and cut the wire for the earrings myself, so there are some places in the copper rings where the copper color shows through where it was cut. It isn't very noticeable, though, but this is just a heads up so you know.

At the end of the ear-piece are an acrylic blue, clear, and silver bead and a Tibetan silver feathered wing charm. The earring parts are silver-colored metal post earrings. The entire ear-piece is 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) long from top earring ball to bottom bead, and is just over 2" (5.1 cm) long from earring post to earring post.

The name for this earring came from the song "Skyswimmer" by one of my favorite bands, Enter the Haggis. After making this earring I realized I couldn't name it anything else since its aerial in almost an aquatic way. The colors and wing charm also make this look rather angelic.

I came up with the idea for this style earring because I have multiple piercings in both ears and wanted something uniquely fantasy for them- what I ended up with was this style of elven/fae earring.
