For over 20 years I have been turning family furs into Family Heirloom Teddy Bears. These teddies can be shared with everyone in your family....a memory of grandma in the form of a lovable teddy bear.



I have been a professional Teddy Bear Artist since 1989....thats over 20 years! My bears have been nominated and awarded The Golden Teddy Award by Teddy Bear Review magazine. My teddies and other animals have also been well published on a regular basis in Teddy Bear Review magazine, Teddy Bear and Friends magazine, and Teddy Today magazine. My bears have also been featured in two books: Tribute to Teddy Bear Artists Series 2 and The Worlds Most Lovable Teddy Bears.



For the first 10 years as an artist, in the 1990s, I was primarily an heirloom artist (creating custom bears from your family fur) and selling at Teddy Bear shows. Then for the a few years, in the early 2000s, I concentrated on my One Of A Kind (OOAK) Artist Bears and sold mainly on eBay. Some of my pandas reached high bids on eBay for over $2,000.00! Now that is exciting!!!



I have a large following of very loyal collectors which leaves me little time to create Family Heirloom Custom Teddy Bears. But I do still receive inquires about making bears from a family vintage mink. If you are interested you can find more information about my bears on my website:

I always knew that I was meant to be an artist...I just never knew that I was destined to become a Teddy Bear Artist. I have an Art degree and in my quest to find a creative career I stumbled upon the very new and growing field of Artist Bears in the late 1980s. I am totally self-taught in this field. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, I was only one of a handful of nationally recognized artists that worked primarily with recycled vintage furs. Still today, I only work with recycled vintage mink stoles, coats, or collars.
