The COBRA is an accessory for the flute. It is worn on the forefinger and supports the flute, making it easier to hold while playing. The COBRA is handmade from metal with rubber coating, so it will not scratch the flute nor does it hurt the hand.

The COBRA is constructed to be flexible enough to adjust by hand, yet strong enough to hold its shape after adjustment. The COBRA should be adjusted to fit the size of the left forefinger (index finger), within the range of ring sizes indicated.

COBRA comes in 3 sizes: small (US 5-7), medium (US 7-10) and large (US 10-13).

COBRA A is the basic version with a single ring and simple "tail."

This item has a BLACK ring.

This item is LARGE size and is suitable for US ring sizes 10-13 or index finger greater than 2.44 inches (62 mm).

The COBRA easily and safely supports the flute, allowing the flute player to focus on playing the music and not worry about holding the flute securely. It is worn on the finger and does not have to be attached to the flute, so it has no adverse affect on the tone quality. In particular, the COBRA provides excellent support when playing notes where the left thumb is not playing a key, and especially trills with notes involving the left thumb.
