Woven, wire wrapped, and ornamented in a large and fantastical way, a vision became a reality in the form of a ring. The top of the ring reaches across the top of the hand 3 1/2 inches. Base of the ring is formed, shaped, wrapped, and in one place basket style woven, of fine pure copper wire that is encased in a non-tarnish protective coating of deep emerald green.
Wired into the composition are some lovely bits of components. Lamp worked glasses of a flower and one that I created at the torch, a fancifully faceted glass bead, and peacock finished seed beads fashioned into flower petals. While the ring is very solid in construction, the weight is very light and comfortable...a difficult accomplishment you may be sure! Ring size is 8 1/2 and is not adjustable. The ring cannot be exactly reproduced and is a one of a kind piece of spontaneously created wearable art! All jewelry items are beautifully box shipped. Thank you for visiting my design! _______Mona

I have a friend who designs almost exclusively in this style. Her name is Lilian Chen and I admire her work so much that I decided to try it for myself. Thank you Lilian for inspiration! I combined Lilian's style with lampworked art glass and a touch of my own french beaded style to create a fanciful and very large ring!
