With a multimedia approach, I used several different techniques of beaded floral work combined with Swarovski Crystal flower petals and unique fantasy flower that I hand torched from Italian glass. The leaves are different shades of green created with Russian beading technique. The pacific blue opal Swarovski Crystals were beaded into flower petals with a French beading technique. Transparent cobalt blue glass beads were tipped with more opal crystals. Lastly, I use high temp wire to create open work petals, then torch molten glass into the frames to create floral components. All combined to create what is a historically very French composition. This composition is hand wired lovingly(meaning securely but also beautifully) to 10K Gold plated filigree then backed with a matching piece of filigree for an elegant finish. The bail for a necklace is 24K Gold plated Sterling Silver and is large enough to accept up to 4mm diameter chain. The pendant is of sumptuous weight and I do not recommend use of a fine gauge chain. Dimensions of the pendant are 3 inches by 2 1/4 inches. A nice quality presentation case will accompany this design.
