Hot coral red on yellow gladiolas say "Summer!" in luxurious 16.5mm stonewashed crepe de Chine. The blooms were painted directly onto the silk with my left hand as I held the flower in my right -- directly from Life --- as are all my floral designs. Brilliant lemon yellow overdyed with peach forms the backdrop; coral pink gladiolas contoured with teal add the detail and drama.
