The earrings are made from polymer clay mixed to look like ivory. They are detailed with turquoise seed beads and wrapped with bronze wire. The ear wires are hand made from bronze wire. They are 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
As the saying goes "Necessity is the mother of invention." My inspiration for these earrings came from the necessity to use up left over ivory looking polymer clay mixed for other projects. I stamped the design with items scattered on my work space, added coiled wire and brass washers. I antiqued the earrings and then highlighted the design with gold acrylic.
