This crocheted ballet snood is made out of 100% cotton crochet thread. The feather wrap is not attached (due to the fact that it does not stretch), so it can be worn with or without it. If you would like the bun cover a different color just let me know when you order it and I could send a different color.

I make the covers as a one-size-fits-most. They are very stretchy, you can fit alot of bun in them. If you have very long or thick hair and want one I can adjust the size, just let me know. But for most young ladies they fit nicely.

Tip: I have found when I put my daughters hair into a bun I'll wrap it with a hair net(I can re-use a hair net for quite awhile before it rips apart), then I put the snood over that. And pin the snood down snug, it keeps everything neat and it doesn't bounce around as much.

You can hand wash with mild soap, shape and lay flat to dry. I hand sew the elastic together so it will last a long time.

When I saw the costume for my daughters ballet recital, I got the inspiration for these cute ballet snoods. They were black sleepy kittys, some of the white was this white feather boa stuff and all I could picture was all the girls with these snoods that match. So I made one for each girl in her class. Boy were they too cute! Everyone loved the snoods and it made the costume!
