This eco-friendly heat bag is made with long grain rice and organic flax seed. Sewn into a 11 x 6 1/2 (approx) 100% cotton flannel bag(pattern may vary from picture). It took awhile to come up with the right ratio of rice to flax seed to make a nice moist(not wet) heat bag that keeps the heat for around an hour. This bag can be used in the freezer, place in a ziplock bag and freeze for at least an hour. This bag is unscented. If you want a scented bag I can make one and post it the day I receive a request.

If you are looking for a bag to keep in the freezer for boo boos I make just rice bags. There is no reason to waste flaxseed to leave in the freezer. These are in my studio also.

To heat place in the microwave for about 1 minute. Every microwave is different, start low and add 5-10 seconds at a time. Nobody likes the smell of burnt rice! (yuk) Please test temp before use.

I love my bag(s), I dont want to tell you how many we have in the house. ;) I use them to help a sore neck, earaches, to heat up my bed on a cold winters night...I even use them to help my dough rise when I make bread. I keep a couple special for warming up my feet. Maybe I will go heat one right know my back is bothering me. ;)
