We all believe in unicorns. Right! At least a little bit? We just know that there is a hidden place where secret and magic things happen. This is sized and mounted for a 8" x 10" picture frame or it also looks great with a mat in a 11" x 14" frame. This listing does not include the frame.

Our paper cut silhouette wall hanging pictures make a stunning and unique addition to any decor at home or office. They would be welcomed gifts for those on your shopping list and with our growing variety of designs I am sure we have a silhouette theme that anyone can appreciate.

I have many years experience with silhouettes as can be seen from the variety of subjects of my over 300 designs of my wood silhouettes and many of those years and designs are appropriate for paper cut silhouettes plus thousands more that I have not used yet. These papercuts allow me to dig deeper into my library and use ones that were not suitable for scrollsawing.

All the black paper silhouettes are cut from the finest no acid paper made specifically for detailed silhouettes. The colored silhouettes are cut from no acid and ligninfree paper. Both papers yield very sharp images and will remain color fast for generations. The mounting medium is also no acid and the glue is a special product specifically designed for this application.

A word about how I make these silhouettes. They are cut by hand with very sharp bladed small artisan instrument. No automatic cutting machines are used and so we classify our silhouettes as handmade. I then mount them on a suitable sized (usually 8" x 10") no acid background backing for insertion into your picture frame. As mentioned earlier these can be mounted in an 8" x 10" frame or look very handsome in an 11" x 14" frame. We typically ship within two business days after receipt of your payment or the clearing of your check. However, we do list in several places and if you pick a design that has just sold in another site it may take an extra 1 or 2 days. We will let you know if this happens.

As with any of our items you must be 100% satisfied or you may return the item within 14 days for a full refund including all shipping charges. We do ask that you contact us by email before returning an item which includes the name of the item and your preference regarding receiving the refund.

I ship USPS first class mail in a padded envelope with additional protection inside, however we will ship Priority Mail if you so desire. However, it is our experience that, in most cases, first class is as fast as priority shipping. First class shipping charges are as displayed on the items listing and we do ship worldwide. We do combine shipping cost on multiple item purchases so that you just pay the cost of shipping one item.
