Details

A wonderfully wide and thick ladies cowl, hand knit in alternating sections of black with black and white. The black is more of a faded black or dark gray, giving it a not-so-harsh contrast with the white, but dark enough to make it a striking addition to your winter wardrobe. The yarn is a thicker than average yarn, making this handmade cowl thick and cozy with a chunkier look and feel that is so popular right now.

- Color: light black / dark gray and white
- Size: approx. 7-1/2" wide x 30" circumference
- Materials: 80% acrylic, 20% wool
- Care: for best results, hand wash and dry flat.
- Handmade by Nikki Weiss. Made in Montana.

All of my scarves are handmade by me with the utmost care and attention to detail. Most are of limited production, and some are one-of-a-kind. I love to work with a variety of fibers and stitch patterns, making scarves in all kinds of styles, textures, colors, and sizes. I will make some of my scarves a few times, but I quickly get bored with making the same things again and again. Therefore, I am always moving on to creating new things. All of this is to say, I don't mass-produce things in large numbers; I hand-make my scarves in very small quantities. By purchasing one of my handmade scarves, you are getting (or giving) something very special.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I love to knit and crochet using various fibers and stitch patterns to create beautiful scarves for women to wear and enjoy in the various seasons of the year. I hope that you will find something from my large selection of handmade scarves that you will love wearing as much as I love making them. --Nikki Weiss / myMountainStudio

Environment of my handmade items:
I am a non-smoker and my family, home, and studio are 100% smoke-free. While my family does insist on having a pet-friendly home, I have an aversion to pet hair and do not allow any animals of any kind into my studio. I am very conscientious about keeping pet hair off of my clothes and out of my stuff. I do occasionally work with wool and alpaca yarns, so if you are sensitive to any of these type of fibers, be sure to check the material contents listed on each scarf or shawl.
