Balanced symphony of beautiful detailing and open airy design. A hand-formed bangle of substantial copper wire is beautifully wire-wrapped and embellished with two more guages of copper wire and sesame jasper semi-precious gemstone beads. Four dangles - a flower blossom, a sea horse, a fish, and a dolphin - swing gracefully along the top of the bangle. Their pairing, along with the silvery blue sesame jasper, are reminiscent of the soft Spring lighting and coastal breezes of East Coast ports.
The bottom of the bangle is cleanly forged and overlapped, allowing for adjustment or even just a touch of "give" when you slide your hand through.

I just got back from a trip to Baltimore for a business conference. It was cold and a bit dreary, but the steel grey ocean and muted lighting were gorgeous. There was century old architecture juxtaposed next to sleek modern buildings; cobblestone streets, copper roof caps, and curved glassy spires. It's this airy proportion of detail and space, old and modern, seaport and commerce that inspired this piece.
