These crystal Prisms are constructed by hand and are one of a kind. Even if the design is the same the variables and facets are different in each one. They cannot be machine reproduced. They are composed of optically pure leaded crystal with some having a special dichroic treated glass adhered to the bottom.

This Large Column with a Fused Cab for a base is Mystic Prism's first total collaboration of all of our work. Nick ground the blank, Kellie painstakingly cut multiple strips of glass and dichrioc and arranged them in a dish and fired it at a very high temperature. Its remarkable refractive energy stands this piece in a category all on its own.

Its total height stands 5 3/4 Inches tall, 1 7/8 inches wide and the cab itself measures 1 1/8 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches wide.

The philosophy of the prism is refractive illusion. As with mirrors, virtual worlds can be created inside the prism by reflecting reflections off of each other in an extreme dynamic display of light and color. The brighter the light the brighter the prism as it reflects that which is around it. As the light is bent through these prisms a room of rainbow reflection is the result.
