CEDAR SMUDGE BUNDLES, ORGANICALLY GROWN

The cedar used in these smudge bundles comes from my garden. No chemicals were ever used on my cedar tree. Cedar is one of the sacred plants of the Native Americans, along with tobacco, sage and sweetgrass.

Smudging is used for purification purposes and other ceremonial uses.

About twenty five years ago, a cedar seedling sprouted in my yard. It is now about 4 feet tall and is the tree I have taken this cedar from for the smudge bundles. It is unknown where this tree originated from, but the Native people feel it is a blessing for a cedar tree chooses to grow on your property. I have watched over this tree ever since it decided it wanted to grow in my yard. This is the first year I have made smudge bundles from any of the plants and trees in my garden, but it felt like the right time to do so.
