Super comfortable to wear, this handmade ring for guys showcases rustic textured metal and a rich patina in the design. The thick wide band has carefully hand-sculpted rounded edges to be smooth to the touch, so that it becomes a natural part of your hand.

This distinctive artisan ring features a timeless rustic rectangular design, with a wonderful organic texture all around the band. It measures approximately 7-8mm (0.3 inch) wide and is made of .999 Fine Silver.

The men's ring shown in the pictures is ready to ship in a true-size 8 1/2, but if this is not your size, I would be happy to make one to fit you perfectly. Simply add this ring to your shopping cart and let me know the size you need in the notes to seller during the checkout process. Your regular-normal ring size is all I need. Please allow for 4-5 business days for me to make it for you before it can ship out.

The patina (the colors on the metal) is what we call a living patina. It changes over time as it becomes a part of your daily life. It will darken and lighten in various areas and will constantly be changing. Of course, you can polish it up lightly from time to time with the special jewelry cloth that I include with all my rings.

fine silver, precious metal clay

A word about Precious Metal Clay Fine Silver:

I only use PMC3 for all my Fine Silver Rings/Bands. It is the strongest and most dense form of Silver Clay on the market to date and perfect for making rings.

I make my ring shanks nice and thick for durability and stability, while making sure that they are super comfortable to wear.

All my Precious Metal Clay jewelry components are fired in my Paragon Kiln to ensure full sintering.

Silver Metal Clay is manufactured in Japan by a couple of companies. The brand names are Precious Metal Clay (aka PMC) and Art Clay Silver. These companies recycle fine silver which was already used to make other components such as rolls of film for photography, computer circuit boards, etc, and they reclaim the fine silver. They combine this reclaimed silver with a non-toxic organic binder and water, to form a wet clay.

During the firing process in my kiln, the organic binders burn away and all I am left with is pure silver particles that sinter or bond together. The resulting silver piece that comes out of my kiln is 99.9% pure silver.

It is a wonderful way to work with metal, and allows me to make more organic designs. It is quite expensive to work with, but the results are well worth it :)
