This rustic primitive runic ring is part of my new rune series. The ring is fine (.999) fine silver, 100% handmade by me. It features a rune stone set on a wide band with a beautiful winter branches pattern. The band is 10mm wide, or a little less than 1/2" wide.

The ring is oxidized and then tumble polished to achieve a beautiful, but ancient looking shine. The ring could also be done in a bright silver finish.

This ring in the photos features the rune inguz, which can be interpreted as meaning love, harmony, fertility, and new beginnings. I can also do many other runes. If you would like to see a chart of the runes I can do, see pictures 5 and 8.

****The 4th picture shows examples of rune stones I have made so you can see the variation between them. The top left three have been done in a shiny finish and the remainders are done in the satin finish. I recommend satin finish for a more rustic look. For a darker more 'antiqued' rune, I can oxidize the silver (make it blacker, darker). Oxidation can run from just a slight darkening to almost black. If you would like a special finish other than satin finish, let me know when you check out.

****The fifth picture shows the Anglo Saxon runes and their meanings. Most are quite similar to the Elder Futhark and for those I've chosen the standard Elder Futhark names and meanings. The bottom row runes are North Umbrian and their names and meanings are according to the Northumbrian Futhark.


The ring shown is a size 7 US, or a UK size N 1/2 (inside diameter of the ring is 17.5mm). I am happy to custom make this any size you like - please allow 1 week for creation of a new ring if you want another size. If nothing is specified during checkout or in a note to me I will assume you want this exact ring, the size 7. IMPORTANT: Please send me a note during or after the order with your rune preference and ring size! I'm happy to work with you to get it right.

If you would a more masculine pattern on the band, I can certainly do that also. Perhaps a pebble texture, or waves. Contact me for customization options.

The ring is made from Art Clay Silver (Precious Metal Clay, or PMC) - a unique product made from recycled silver. The material is a clay that when fired in a kiln becomes pure silver. Very cool! This ring is 100% handmade in the USA from recycled silver. :-)

SIZING: Ordering a bracelet or necklace? Is the recipient petite or plus sized? Let me know so I can adjust the size of the item accordingly. Most of the necklaces I made are a Women's size Medium (18"). Bracelets range from a Women's M to L depending on the chain style - if you/the recipient has petite wrists, these will be too large and you should ask me to size it down.

GIFT WRAPPING: All items come ready to give as a gift in their own pretty organza gift bag inside a lovely gold or silver paper covered box. The box is held shut by a delicate satin bow. Gift notes can be included free of charge upon request. Invoices/receipts are not included unless a special request is made for one. For international orders, anti tarnish tissue paper is substituted for the organza bag (to avoid tarnishing during longer transit times).
