Cascading Smoky Quartz and Plum Spinel Earrings Sterling Silver, Shoulder Dusters

Dusky smoky quartz and natural spinel gemstones spiral down lengths of sterling silver chain to create these long, extravagant dangle earrings.

These enchanting earrings are long and sultry, with unspeakable flash and sparkle. They move and rearrange themselves with the slightest movement, reminding me of a secret world, filled with tiny fairies.

Lush colors and unique shapes spill down a length of sterling silver chain to create a dramatic effect.
The colors of the gemstones I chose to use are perfect with Pantone's colors for Fall 2011, specifically the colors they call Phlox, Coffee Liqueur, and Nougat.

Small spinel rondelles, in shades of lavender and plum, dance between flawless smoky quartz gemstones. I wired the dusky brown pan cut pears in such a way that, sometimes, they actually appear to hang in midair. Exquisite smoky quartz "kites" flutter at the ends of the chain.

* Smoky Quartz Kites = 9.5mm from point to point

The following ear wire options are available, but for security reasons, I highly recommend that you keep them on the hinged leverbacks. These earrings are one of a kind, and I won't be able to duplicate them if one or both is lost. Because leverbacks are hinged and actually close, the likelihood of an earring working its way out and getting lost is greatly reduced.
