Garnet Cube Earrings With Oxidized Sterling Silver - Artisan Handmade

Three gemmy garnets have been dropped in a linear design to create playful, lightweight earrings. The stones are cut into flashy little faceted cubes, showing off their rosy ruby color beautifully.

I chose to put a dark patina on the silver, with a subtle hushed polish that I achieved by rubbing by hand with a jeweler's polishing cloth until I found the result I was looking for.

Garnet is the birthstone for January.
