Shenandoah....brings to mind the romantic ballad about the Shenandoah Valley that was out SOOOO many years ago. It makes me think of deep valleys, lush green fields and wide open vistas. May wearing this piece imbue you with that long ago sense of romance and majesty.

Necklace: Large copper hand-formed textured pendant with a nestling of apple green avertine gemstones at the base. All copper work is finished with a lustrous patina. Avertine gemstone beads are wire-wrapped and topped with my hand coiled bead caps. Larger scroll-worked copper segments provide visual interest and structural integrity. My handmade copper swirled clasp provides a secure closure.
Length: Just over 18". Pendant is 2 1/8" at the widest area and about 3 3/4" in length. MAJESTIC!

Bracelet: This bracelet is delicate in appearance, due to finer gauge wire, but is very strong and sturdy. Avertine gemstone beads are wire wrapped to scrolled wire connectors, which I have soldered for added strength. The copper handmade clasp is soldered as well.
Length: 8 1/2"

Earrings: Simple, elegant and strong! Delicate wire work swirls from each end of the avertine bead. The dangle hangs from a hand formed round ear wire.
Length: About an 1 1/2" from the center of the earring wire.

The large hand-formed copper wire pendant on the necklace reflects the deep Shenandoah valleys. The cluster of green avertine gemstone beads at the base of the pendant offer a grassy respite after a long day in the saddle.... O.K, so I am got a bit poetic...but that's what the song did for me.
