Cotton flannel mojo bags, also known as a gris-gris, toby, hand, ouanga, wanga, charm bag, spell bag, amulet bag, and medicine bag, depending on your personal path.

These are handmade by me. They are approximately 2 inches by 3 inches. The top is hemmed for a nice finish.

These bags do not come with a closure, since some types of hoodoo works are meant to be sealed (sewn shut) and some types are meant to be open (tied shut) so that they may be fed.

However, if you would like matching ribbons or some other type of tie, please simply let me know and I will be happy to include some ties for you.

These also make nice little jewellery bags.

The bags have not been blessed, consecrated, cursed, or activated. That is up to the user.

Charm bags (let's just call them that for now) are meant to be used as a carry-along altar. Into the bag, a user would place items that create a microcosm that represents the conditions he or she is trying to manifest in the outer world.

The traditional color of a mojo bag is red, although the original choice for that color is lost to history. Red is often seen as a color of power, so perhaps that is where it originated. Or, perhaps, that was just the color easiest to come by when mojo bags first started being used.

However, the color of the bag is not set in stone. Different users may prefer to use different colors, for many reasons. Some associate certain colors with certain meanings, such as using black to banish negativity, green for money, or pink for love.

Others may prefer a color corresponding with the spell's intent, such as using yellow to bend the will of another.

Still others might just like to use their favorite colors.
