STORY BEHIND THE PRODUCT



The fabric used for these bags is Handmade by the HMONG hill tribes that occupy Northern Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and part of Laos. Their livelihood has changed from Opium farming to handcrafting over the past couple of decades.



These one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly purses are up-cycled from the traditional, embroidered clothing and baby carriers of the hill tribe women in the region. Your Fair Trade purchase helps to economically empower women artisans, improve quality of life and preserve tradition and cultural legacy in the region.
