This pendant opens like a book to reveal the message underneath, which peeks through under a cutout compass. A 1" rectangle of 20 gauge (1mm) copper is pierced by hand with a compass design and hammered on the edges. It lies atop a 1" rectangle of 20 gauge sterling silver that is stamped with a line from a poem in JRR Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring--"Not all those who wander are lost." The pendant is attached to an 18" ball chain with extra heavy copper jump rings. All components are sterling silver or pure copper that is oxidized for an aged patina.
