Natural cotton canvas and imported batik were used to craft this conveniently sized wallet or clutch. The soft but sturdy canvas holds up well to daily use, while the asymmetrical design allows a peek at the delicate hand dyed batik lining; palm fronds etched in warm yellow, beige and gray tones. Very organic, both in origin and style.

This clutch was designed and sewn by Patchtique on a 1954 Singer Featherweight machine in a studio located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. You won't be able to find this in any store, and the low price makes it easily affordable.

The closed measurements are 8"x5", big enough to hold a cellphone, with a little inside pocket for credit card and driver's license. A sturdy heavy duty Western style snap closes it securely. The outer canvas has been treated with Scotchguard to protect agains moisture and stains.

Use as a makeup bag, wallet, or all by itself as a purse when you just need something to grab and go.
