No snakes were harmed to make this vegan snakeskin wallet clutch! However, the hand glazed fabric has a soft, smooth feeling similar to finely tanned leather.

The snake has been central to many mythology for centuries. They often play a part in creation stories because by shedding their skins, they appear to be reincarnated. Because of their ability to coil, they also resemble the circles and coils that represent eternity. They are also believed to guard the underworld, perhaps because they are so often found in cracks and holes in the ground. And of course, the snake plays a pivotal role in Biblical stories as the creature who caused Adam and Eve to be expelled from the Garden of Eden.

This exclusive design was handmade in the Patchtique studio overlooking the beautiful Cascade Mountains, just east of Seattle.

The custom construction and finishing techniques brings out an unusual color richness. You won't be able to find this in any store, and the low price makes it easily affordable.

The outer fabric has been glazed with an acrylic frost to protect against moisture and stains.

The closed measurements are 8"x5", big enough to hold a cellphone, with a little inside pocket for credit card and driver's license. A sturdy heavy duty snap closes it securely. Use as a makeup bag, wallet, or all by itself as a purse when you just need something to grab and go.
