Patchtique is a Seattle area designer, but just because we are known for our rainy weather doesn't mean we don't like bright colors. An old song says "the bluest skies are in Seattle," and that's so true; when the sun comes out, Seattleites come out to play. Did you know we buy more sunglasses per capita than any other city in the country?

An added bonus: if you like to shop vegan, this purse has been constructed using 100% cotton fabric that has been treated with an acrylic glaze that not only protects against moisture and stains, but also gives it a feel not unlike soft leather.

I love fabric, and am always on the prowl for new colors and prints, and my choices reflect my personal interests in nature, animals, flowers, and art. Everything is put together using a 1954 Singer Featherweight sewing machine in my studio overlooking the Cascade Mountains. This purse pattern was designed by me, and has been "road tested" both as a wallet and a clutch. It can also be used as a makeup or jewelry bag.
