Here is the perfect little clutch handbag to express your funloving side. The cotton fabric features a Flower Power design reminiscent of the psychedelic sixties, with simple daisy blossoms in yellow, pink, and orange, dancing amidst swirls and curlyques of green, yellow and purple with black and white accents. The inside is a coordinating fabric in teal with yellow polka dots. There is also a "sister bag" featuring the same fabrics with the outside and inside reversed. Carrying this clutch is like having a little party in your hand!

I fell in love with fabric when my Mom used to take me with her to the fabric store. She was an accomplished seamstress, and our trips to pick out fabric for all the skirts and dresses that she made for me are some of my most special memories. But I don't remember ever seeing fabrics as bright and colorful as those available; no wonder whenever I see something new I'm on it like a duck on a Junebug.

This clutch was designed by me from scratch, and is made by hand in my studio overlooking the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. I use a 1954 Singer Featherweight machine, the same one my mother used decades ago to make so many wonderful things for me. The outside has been glazed with acrylic, which protects against moisture and stains, and gives the fabric a feel not unlike soft leather. It has been "road tested" both as a wallet and a clutch, or could be used as a makeup or jewelry bag.
