Did the gecko escape? No, it's just a necklace, with an adorable hand carved lizard or gecko of earthy jasper. What a fun, casual conversation piece! What looks like dark cracks, are just striations in the rock.

Nose to tail, pendant measures 1 1/4 inches. Necklace is a comfortable length of 20 3/4 inches.

Scenic Jasper beads are multicolored, all shades of tan to brown and most likely came from somewhere in the western United States, although I was unable to verify the source. Some secnic jasper is mined in Oregon. Beads are 6.5mm and accented with smoky quartz and sterling silver.

Closure is with a twisted toggle clasp, my signature "eye" beads are found on each side.
